The grand welcome was marked by chants of “Modi ji ka swagat hai” and a standing ovation from party workers and leaders present in the room. BJP national President JP Nadda added to the welcome by garlanding the prime minister.
Attributing the party’s resounding success in the three states to Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the meeting emphasized the importance of team spirit. In Telangana, where the Congress displaced BRS, the BJP witnessed an improvement in both vote share and tally since the previous elections.
Addressing the MPs, Prime Minister Modi credited the victory to the collective efforts of all party workers, declaring it a win for the entire BJP team. He encouraged the celebration and recognition of the hard work put in by every worker.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi humbly requested MPs and party workers to refer to him simply as ‘Modi’ and not as ‘Modi ji,’ emphasizing the importance of a collaborative and egalitarian approach within the party.
