The 10th match of the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup was played between Australia and South Africa at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, India. Australia, the defending champions, were looking to bounce back from their opening match defeat to England. South Africa, on the other hand, was fresh off a victory over Bangladesh.

After Markram’s dismissal, South Africa lost a few wickets in quick succession. However, David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen steadied the ship with a 64-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Miller scored a half-century, while Klaasen remained unbeaten on 49.

South Africa finished their innings on 311/7, with de Kock being the top scorer with 109. Mitchell Starc was the pick of the Australian bowlers, picking up three wickets.

Kagiso Rabada was the pick of the South African bowlers, picking up three wickets. Tabraiz Shamsi also chipped in with two wickets.
