Adorf and the appeal of the camera

At 93 years old, Mario Adorf is open to returning to the camera if the right role comes along. The veteran actor expressed his willingness to act again but clarified that it’s not a personal ambition. Adorf, speaking to the German Press Agency in Munich, mentioned that he hasn’t been in a film for the past four years, and his plans were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including a desire to work with Michael Caine and conclude his career.

Despite these plans, Adorf emphasized that he feels content and doesn’t have a pressing need to take on new roles. “I am happy,” he said, indicating a sense of fulfillment in his current state.
