He has directed the DMA and district administration to implement emergency measures promptly. The authorities are ordered to swiftly relocate the human population from the fire-affected area to a secure location, ensuring advanced safety measures to prevent the fire from spreading.

Domki emphasized, “The PDMA and the district administration should utilize all resources to control the fire under an effective strategy, and the forests should be protected from damage.” Zulfiqar Karrar, the deputy commissioner of Musakhel district, reported that the fire had erupted in the mountain range between Shirani and Musakhel, a border area that experienced a forest fire last year as well.

The Levies Force has reached the affected hilly area with the necessary equipment to bring the fire under control. The DC mentioned that there was no vehicular access to the affected hilly areas; however, the infantry levies managed to reach the location and initiated steps to control the fire.
