PHOENIX – If you’re going to face a tough situation, give it your all and don’t back down.

In the third quarter, with 8 minutes and 23 seconds remaining, Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors got called for a foul against Jusuf Nurkic, the center for the Phoenix Suns. This happened when Green spun around and made physical contact.

After looking at the footage again, Green received a technical foul and was kicked out of the game because the instant replay revealed that he had punched Nurkic.

This isn’t the first time, and it might not be the last, that Green has been thrown out of a game for such behavior. He’s known for a history of these kinds of plays, and many in the NBA think of him as a player who often engages in “dirty” actions.

Green played for 17 minutes before exiting the game. During that time, he scored two points by making one out of three shots and grabbed two rebounds, in addition to providing two assists.

Before the game, the Suns coach, Frank Vogel, spoke highly of Green:

This is the second time in a row that a player has been thrown out during a Suns-Warriors game in Phoenix. In the previous match, Chris Paul was ejected just a few minutes into the game.

As of now, while this is being published, the Warriors are ahead with a score of 70-66 in the third quarter.
