Akhilesh Yadav Accuses BJP of Undermining Democracy, Calls for Removal in 2024 Lok Sabha Elections

SP President Urges Party Workers to Strengthen Organization at Booth Level

In a New Year’s Day address at the Samajwadi Party (SP) state headquarters, party president Akhilesh Yadav accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of conspiring to undermine the sanctity of democracy. Yadav emphasized the necessity of removing the saffron party “at any cost” in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing the gathering, Yadav expressed his wishes for a year of happiness and prosperity for everyone. He issued a statement from the SP headquarters alerting party workers to be vigilant against any irregularities by the BJP in the 2024 elections.

Yadav stressed the need to strengthen the organization up to the booth level to prevent the BJP from coming to power. He called on party members to use their votes carefully and work towards defeating the BJP in all 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Highlighting the significance of the 2024 elections, Yadav stated that it is about saving democracy and the Constitution. He cautioned the public that without democracy and the Constitution, the right to vote could be taken away, especially affecting the backward, Dalit, and minority communities.

Accusing the BJP of leading the country backward in the past 10 years, Yadav criticized the government for inflation, unemployment, and corruption. He asserted that the BJP had not fulfilled a single promise and called for its removal in the upcoming elections.

Yadav pointed out the adverse impact of the BJP’s economic policies on various sections of society, including farmers and youth. He also criticized the Yogi Adityanath dispensation in Uttar Pradesh, alleging that the state leads in crime against women and cybercrime, with law and order collapsing.

SP national general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav and Swami Prasad Maurya also addressed the gathering, extending New Year’s wishes and participating in the call for action against the BJP in the upcoming elections.
